Leading Health Indicators Profile Report Index

  • The Healthy New Jersey 2020 (HNJ2020) initiative was a comprehensive set of disease prevention and health promotion objectives for the state to achieve during the 2010-2020 decade.
  • The Leading Health Indicators (LHIs) were a small set of HNJ2020 objectives selected as high-priority health issues and were considered to be a reflection of the state's major public health concerns at the beginning of the decade: Access to Health Care, Birth Outcomes, Immunization, and Chronic Disease Prevention.
