The total population of TB cases includes persons of all ages, including young children who are unlikely to be tested for HIV if there are no known risk factors and older persons who have had the same primary care physician for many years and are also unlikely to be tested if there are no risk factors. Hence, there will always be a certain proportion of the population that is not been tested for HIV.Why Is This Important?
