The leading causes of death among Blacks in New Jersey in 2019 were: #heart disease #cancer #unintentional injuries #stroke #diabetes #septicemia (tie) #chronic lower respiratory diseases (tie) #kidney disease #essential hypertension and hypertensive renal disease #Alzheimer's disease

How Do We Compare With the U.S.?

The age-adjusted death rate among Blacks in New Jersey is statistically significantly lower than that of the U.S.
