The reportable communicable disease data in the NJSHAD query module come from the New Jersey Communicable Disease Reporting and Surveillance System (CDRSS) database maintained by the New Jersey Department of Health.

Technical Notes for each year's data are available on the CDS website.

All data shown are for New Jersey residents.

Population

Population estimates used to calculate rates are derived from the most recent vintage of population estimates prepared by U.S. Bureau of the Census.
