Custom Dataset Query

The NJSHAD interactive query system allows users to query public health datasets directly and produce graphs, tables, and maps of the desired data. Click one below to get started.
  • Most datasets have state, county, and municipality data, but variables and levels of detail are determined by each data steward and vary from one dataset to another.

Preliminary Data and Statistics
  • If you need preliminary municipality-level birth data for school enrollment projections, please email directly.
  • Added May 2019: Births: Provisional Data for 2018 Adobe Acrobat Reader icon
  • Weekly reports of NJ overdose deaths and Narcan administrations are provided by the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
  • The National Center for Health Statistics provides monthly provisional counts of New Jersey births, deaths, drug overdose deaths, and weekly pneumonia and flu deaths.
  • The National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases provides monthly flu vaccination coverage estimates for New Jersey via FluVaxView Interactive.
